Prestige Relocation: comprehensive home search and selection services in Yorkshire, UK Our clients are the most important element of our business, so Prestige Relocation offers a flexible approach to the home search and selection process, providing a bespoke service with as little or as much help as you need. This can include:

1. Establish your requirements.
A face to face meeting with you to draw up a profile of your requirements, taking into account your aspirations, desires, likes & dislikes. This is, we believe, a more comprehensive and personal approach than simply completing a printed questionnaire which may be too specific to allow flexibility and compromise and can lead to missed opportunities.

2. Search & selection process.
Once the locality within which you want to live and the style of property is identified, we obtain details of suitable properties from our network of estate agent contacts covering the area concerned. A direct approach can also be made to specific homes which appear suitable, but may not be on the market, to invite the owners to consider selling.

3. Initial viewings on your behalf.
We inspect each property and the surrounding area, looking for potential problems, advantages and disadvantages which may not be apparent from the sales particulars. We then arrange a video walk round and/or 360 degree digital photography shots to provide you with comprehensive views of the property.

We research the specific areas where short listed properties are located. This includes details of schools with prospectuses and Ofsted reports, hospitals, clinics, surgeries, nurseries, toddler groups, transport links, gyms, sports clubs, golf clubs, cinemas, theatres, churches, mains services, local clubs, village halls, etc. indeed anything relevant to your needs (taking into account the whole family). We then produce a comprehensive report on each one, incorporating sales details, property tour, schooling and amenity information and any other demographic information which may prove useful to you. This will then be discussed in person with you so that a short list of properties can be drawn up.

5. Clients' accompanied viewing of short listed properties
We then accompany you on your inspection of each of the short listed properties and provide a guided orientation tour of surrounding areas with location of amenities, schools etc.

Our expertise in negotiating, backed up with research into selling prices of comparable properties in the locality, utilising local knowledge, local contacts, land registry and other websites will then be used to obtain best value for you.

7. Overseeing the purchase process.
We can assist you with funding options through specialist mortgage brokers. We also have a bank of solicitors we are able to recommend from experience, along with valuers and surveyors, etc. We will liaise with estate agents, solicitors, funders and surveyors to ensure that the process is as smooth and speedy as possible and that any potential hiccoughs are handled proactively for an efficient transaction. We can also assist with the selection of removal firms and, if required, supply details of local contractors, builders, interior designers, etc.
